The Emma Coombs Dance Academy (TECDA) is the ultimate resource for your learning experience. Dedicated teachers drive our students to succeed in performance and technique. Throughout the school year our students take part in many exciting and educational events including ISTD dance examinations, local competitions, audition opportunities with prestigious dance companies and an annual dance show at The Lawrence Batley Theatre in Huddersfield.
Classes are available in ISTD Ballet, ISTD Tap, ISTD Modern and ISTD Jazz. The more commercial classes include street dance, break dance, cheerleading, limbering and gymnastics. Adult classes are also on offer for all abilities.
TECDA provides cheerleaders for The Batley Bulldogs RLFC comprising of 3 teams for different age groups. TECDA incorporates lovE heart inC - a professional cabaret and dance team for The Pulse Radio Station.
